thank you well...I use simple wood panels that I find on stores like Obi or Castorama (garden and bricolage stores) I use oils (only 5 or 6 colors...naples yellow, titanium white, brunt siena, primary blue, a little bit of flesh pink and cadmium red) and for melt them I use liquin Sometines I use final spray that makes paintings more yellowish and ancient...but only a little bit
neat do you gesso over the wood too? if so have you ever thought of gessoing over it with black gesso? that would be neat to see your stuff on. ^_^ What kind of spray do you use too? Sorry i'm being so annoying i'm just really interested.
really? does that keep the oil paint from eating away at the wood? I don't like gesso all that much either especially because I want to work on panel but I really want the grain of the wood to show through on some peices but I didn't know what to cover it with.
